Notes:

Brenda Pictor of Marietta posted a round of 77 to claim medalist honors and qualify for the USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship which will be held at Waverley Country Club in Portland, Ore., September 9-14.

Following Pictor was Leslie Elkins of Roswell who posted a round of 81 to qualify and Sarah Phillips-Durst of Tallahassee who posted an 83 for third place to qualify.

The final qualifying spot was decided in a playoff. Shelly White of Atlanta and Deb Agran of Greensboro both posted rounds of 84 and needed two playoff holes to determine who advanced. Shelly white made par on the second playoff hole to claim the final qualifying spot. Deb Agran will be the first alternate and Mindy Smith of Zephyrhillis, Fla. posted a round of 85 to secure the second alternate position. 

This was an 18-hole qualifier held at Planterra Ridge Golf Club in Peachtree City, Ga., for the USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship.
