Billy Peters Cup Matches Event History

The Billy Peters Cup Matches (formerly known as the GSGA-GPGA Challenge Cup) is a biennial competition between male amateur golfers representing the GSGA and professional golfers representing the Georgia Section, PGA of America. In 1997, the trophy that is presented to the winning team was renamed in honor of Billy Peters, past president of the GSGA and tireless volunteer official for both organizations. The tournament was renamed in 2007.
